Skincare Sunday

Hello and Welcome to Saving Face Beauty!

I had plans today. I had a lot of things to check off my To Do list. 1. Go grocery Shopping
2. Take my crap to Goodwill
3. Find a waffle Iron at Goodwill
4. Go to Sephora to use my gift cards
5. Get oil changed
6. Maybe make some waffles
7. Watch some football
But it started snowing while I was at my first destination. I also had the audacity to go to the grocery store in yoga pants and flip flops.   Seriously? Who the hell do I think I am? Since I'm not a big fan of the snow (for practical reasons) I obviously decided to stay home for the rest of the weekend. Long story short, since I was unexpectedly free today I decided to lowkey focus on my skin. This isn't my regular skincare routine and these aren't particularly my favorite products. Some of them are new products that I want to get in the rotation, some are older products that I'm making an effort to use up. Here's what I used:

1Trader Joe's Tea Tree Facial Cleanser
Is is just a cleanser I picked up randomly at T.J. Trader Joes. It cleans my face without overly drying out my face. It gets the job done, but this is one of those products I'm trying to use up.
2Lush Don't Look at Me Fresh Face Mask
To be honest, I don't know what this does, but I trust Lush.
3. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream
I'm trying to get into the groove of using an eyecream regularly because I've been thinking more and more about starting an anti-aging regimen.  Before I get too serious about that, I want to experiment with different eye creams so I know what I like, who h is why I appreciate the sample.
4. Ole Hendrickson Truth Collagen Booster
This just came as a 100 point perk an is on my list of products to use up.
5. CeraVe Skin Renewing Serum
This Fall and Winter have been especially dry on my already dry skin.  In an attempt to restore my skin's moisture, I'm introducing a serum into the mix and CeraVe seemed like a good place to start.
6. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
I've mentioned this on the blog on a handful of occasions,  and that just because I love it so much! This is just a basic, all purpose moisture. But it so thick and hydrating. And since I wasn't intending on going out again, I'm not too concerned about SPF.
That concludes this spur of the moment skincare post and as always, I'd love to hear about your skincare routine and favorite products in the comments.
