Tartlette Tease Review and Swatches

Hello and Welcome to Saving Face Beauty!

I have to admit Tarte, as a brand, has really stepped up their game over the last 3-4 years. I remember when the best product they put out were their 12hr. Amazonian Clay Blushes but the quality of their limites edition eyeshadow palettes looked good, but left much to be desired. But with their Tartlette palettes the brand has done a complete 180.

The Tartlette Tease is the smallest palette palette in the Tartlette family.  With only six shades it contains half as many shadows as both the original Tartlette palette and the Tartlette in Bloom. The Tease contains four matte shades, one true shimmer and one satin organized into two distinct looks containing three shades each.

It's compact size and included mirror make it ideal for a traveler or a minimalist.

I feel like the only thing missing from this palette is a true transition shade. Although you can probably get by without one or by substituting bronzer or a setting powder, not having everything you need available in a palette this size, especially if it's these are the only shadows you'd be taking with you on a trip,  is of the utmost importance.

Here are the looks that I created with it:
