Hello and Welcome to Saving Face Beauty!
I'm trying to get in the habit of familiarizing myself with what's already in my collection. Not only should this process give me a better understanding of what I still love and what I can probably do without, but it's also something I should do when I'm between paychecks. Hey, I'm not ballin' enough to doa Hump Day Haul every week.
The Products Include:
SoniaKashuk Chic Luminosity Glow Powder
When this powder was first released it was compared to the Nars Sheer Glow powder. I didn't care enough about translucent setting powders to spend $40 (or something ridiculous). Now, I think this should complement the E.L.F. HD "Mattifying" Cream Foundation relatively well, since this foundation doesn't set.
L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper
I initially bought this to compare to my NYX brow mascara but at first, there was no comparison. The gel wasn't tinted enough to use as a stand alone brow product for me. I just didn't like it. Not even on the most uneventful of days. I'm determined to find a suitable use for it.
Too Faced Natural Matte Palette
I own two of the Too Faced Natural Eye palettes: the original as well as the all matte version (obviously).Although both of the current Natural Eye palettes are a considerableimprovement over that original, I never really took to it. The ratio of cool to warm tones didn't speak to me. Not as much as my beloved Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral palette. I'm all about second chances. I originally wanted to pair the Too Faced Matte palette with the Makeup Forever (MUFE) neutral artist shadow palette, since none of those shades are matte. Instead I'm looking to pair the matte palette with the random shimmery singles I have floating around.
NYX Infinite Shadow Sticks
The formula of these cream shadow sticks us aconsiderable improvement over that the NYC Jumbo shadow sticks. These actually stays put all day. The only real downfall is that they're not retractable. Really NYX? Really? Either way I need to start using them before they dry out.
NYX Round Lipstick in #612 "Lala"
Even though this lipstick has seen better days (before getting lost for a week in a hot glove box in the middle of July), she's definitely a diamond in the rough. It's a beautiful warm, mauvey, rose shade. I just want to give her one last hurrah before I depot her and stash her away in a lip palette.
That's it for my 'stashed' products that I'm putting into my rotation. What are some products that you find yourself coming back to?
