Hello and Welcome to Saving Face Beauty!
As I write this post I'm watching the Seahawk's first game of the season which, tells me it's time to start switching gears in preparation for fall. And even though my boy Pete Carol allowed the Patriots to rape us in the b-hole two times with a cactus, he's still my old man crush and I look gorward to seeing more of him thos season. But for all the sun - lovers we still have a good 5-6 weeks left of summer and I thought this would be a good time to share some if my favorite polish picks for summer 2015. I even threw in some repeat favorites from last year. Yumm...
Bright simplicity comes to mind with this Sally Hansen shade. It also makes me want Jamba Juice real bad. Yumm... Jamba Juice.
This color has been a favorite for over a year and to be completely honest this I a b one of my most loved polishes for any season. Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring it doesn't really matter this shade will look amazing. Even though this is a bright shade it still has a richness to it that exudes subtle sophistication especially in the Spring and Summer months when the norm is bright pastels and neons.
I especially like this shade on my toes!
You can't have a nail color favorites without throwing in a good red shade. Since this one in particular is so bright I tend to reserve it especially for summer, but for $2 you can't go wrong.
Both this shade and the next shade are new favorites and a result of my recent obsession with Lavender nails.
This Mid-tone Lavender By Milani has been my favorite purple to wear this summer, and these Color Statement nail lacquers retail for only $5.49! Even if purples aren't your thing, I highly recommend checking out the rest of the line to see the full range of color.
As always I'd love to know what bright shades you've been loving this summer, or more importantly, your recommendations for fall. Is Oxblood still a thing? Or is that soooo 2011? And do you also think Pete Carol is surprisingly good looking for an old man?
