Hello and Welcome to Saving Face Beauty!
This is an overview of the products I bought, with the money I earned,
doing things I don’t like, for people who don’t appreciate them.
Now that we got that out of the way, Let’s Get Started!
Prolongwear Eyeshadow in Uninterrupted
In the pan and in a swatch this is the most perfectly disgusting shade of infant vomit. I convinced myself that I needed to stock up because I heard the Prolongwear shadows were being discontinued in June. Surprise! They weren't. Yeah I don't know about all that, but I picked up two because this shadow has been approved for crease use by the goddess herself: Jaclyn Hill.
Nordstrom Neutrals Palette
If you’re like me, you don’t have an extensive MAC collection. I’ve been lusting after this palette since it’s release because the idea of it is brilliant! It features fifteen of the brand’s most popular neutral shadows - most of which have their own cult following.
This was an unplanned purchase. Lately my skin has been going through some things that I just don't need to be drawing attention to. Long story short, I did a really shotty job on my makeup that day and a friend was kind enough to point out that my face was a completely different color than my neck and chest. #fauxpas She was like:
“GURRRLLLLL! Unless you’re going for that geisha look, you need to do something about that face.”
At that point I would've bought anything that matched! And I basically did.
This was a spur of the moment purchase. I didn’t have a good reason for purchasing it besides the fact that it was waiting patiently to seduce me from the ‘Sized to Go’ section. What can I say? I’m just easily intrigued by purple.
That concludes today's Hump Day Haul. If you have any of these products, I'd love to know how you like them, and as always I'm taking recommendations for products I shouldn't be living without.
